The ADGA National Sales Committee is now accepting nominations for the prestigious Spotlight Sale, a unique opportunity to showcase the exceptional achievements of your herd. We seek animals of the highest quality, evaluated based on official DHIR records, linear appraisal scores, show results, and DNA Parent Verified pedigrees. Our committee is dedicated to identifying dairy goats that excel in all categories. Nominate your best animals to generate significant interest, reflecting positively on your entire herd.

The Spotlight Sale attracts discerning buyers from across the United States and internationally, all seeking top-quality, performance-proven, sound, and healthy dairy goats. The exposure and name recognition your herd will gain are invaluable.

Rest assured, every nomination receives serious and thorough consideration in our selection process. The Spotlight Sale Committee is committed to creating a successful and positive experience for all parties involved—the seller, the buyer, and the dairy goat industry as a whole. Quality animals, especially those with proven genetics on both sides of the pedigree, are highly sought after. While more does are accepted than bucks, nominations for high-quality buck kids are also encouraged. Quality sells, especially when repeat breedings of proven animals are consigned.

Consignments can arrive at the sale site either by personal vehicle or airline flight. The ease of air travel depends on the departure and arrival cities, so if you plan to use this option, start making arrangements as soon as possible. Rest assured, your consignments will receive the best care throughout the week from both the host and National Sales committees.

Please carefully read and follow the Nomination Rules and Regulations as well as the Sales Contract. These documents contain essential information about the nomination and sales process. Nominating your animal is straightforward: we require a minimum of 2 pages of information and photographs about your nominee and its close relatives, along with a four-generation pedigree.

If your nomination is accepted, you will receive further details via email regarding displays, brochures, DNA typing, and fitting. For any additional questions, feel free to contact any committee member.
