The American Dairy Goat Association welcomes your participation in the 2026 ADGA Goat Milk Bath and Body Care Products Competition to be held at the Annual Convention in Indianapolis, IN on Monday, October 12, and Tuesday, October 13, 2026. This competition will be open to anyone who uses either liquid or powdered goat milk to make bath and body products

Entries


 All entries must be received at the ADGA Convention Registration Desk at the Marriott East Indianapolis no later than Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Mail to: Convention Registration Desk, Indianapolis Marriott East, 7202 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46219. Packages must be sent at entrants’ expense.  Each package sent to hotel must include the name of Group (ADGA Products), the date of the Event (October 12, 2026), and the number of items contained in the package. Packages must include a packing slip containing number of packages shipped and number of items in each box. Each entry should be clearly marked with its name (e.g., “Lavender Soap Bar”), and class number.

Hand delivery may be made by prior arrangement. Contact the ADGA Products Committee Chair, Caroline Lawson, at tlcgoats@gmail.com. Entries will be showcased at the Cheese and Body Products Reception on Thursday evening, October 15.

We encourage entrants to include small amounts of promotional materials and distributor information with their entries. These promotional materials will be withheld during judging and placed with products at the Thursday evening Products Reception. All entries in the gift package division will be auctioned during the reception. Promotional materials (including any soaps or other body products) will be available for pickup by ADGA members attending the Products Reception.  No products or promotional materials will be returned to entrants (although entrants attending the Products Reception may pick up their products and/or leftover promotional materials at the end of the Products Reception).

Prizes

A $100 gift card and rosette will be awarded to the Best In Show body product, and a $50 gift card and rosette will be awarded to the Reserve Best In Show body product.  Ribbons will be awarded to the 1st through 3rd place winners in each division.

  1. Only Products that include fresh or powdered goat’s milk are eligible to compete in this competition.
  2. The entry fee is $10/entry, and gift baskets are free. Entries must be received onsite by Sunday, October 11.
  3. Products MAY NOT include pre-made bases, and bar soaps MAY NOT be made from melt-and-pour bases. However, goat milk melt-and-pour decorations may be used.
  4. Bar Soaps may include any combination of tallow, lard, and/or vegetable oils.
  5. Fragrance will be defined as any fragrance oil, combination of fragrance oils, or combination of essential oils and fragrance oils.
  6. Miscellaneous Body Care Products will be defined as products containing fresh or powdered goat milk that does not qualify for any other classes in the competition.
  7. Products may only be entered in classes they qualify for. If you are unsure about a class, contact Caroline Lawson at tlcgoats@gmail.com or text 979-229-5405.
  8. All entries will be displayed at the Goat Products Reception. Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show winners will be sold at an auction during the Products Reception.
  9. Please fill out an entry form for each product entered.
  10. Please send promotional materials or placards in shipping container(s) with your product.
  11. Please send entries without packaging or any other identifying material unless you are entering a gift basket, where packaging is an important aspect. Include the ingredient information on products entered in both competitions.

  13. Send one bar of soap or one small individual container of other products for judging, and one normal packaged soap bar or product for display at the reception. Gift packaging may contain a combination of any products produced by the entrant, plus non-product items.

  15. Products entered in the creative division will be judged on their aesthetic aspects only.
